If you want to prevent dry itchy skin, bad breath or a huge migraine, and maintain a healthy weight, drink up!
Couple Fun facts: • the body is made of about 60% of water • maintains blood volume, body temperature and skin quality • sustains activity of the brain • lubricates joints and eyes • eliminates toxins • no saliva, no swallowing 😉
A not so fun fact: the body can survive without food for a month, it can’t survive more than 2 days without water.
We lose about 2.5 liters of water per day. A healthy diet can rehydrate a third of the loss. So, you’d still need to drink about 1.5 liters of liquid. More if you are very active or under stress.
Oh, and don’t confuse hunger for thirst. It happens all too often!
